Abby brings together everything she’s learnt from 15 years at the BBC, as well as her subsequent crisis experience ‘on the other side’ with global PR agency Burson-Marsteller.

Negotiating with Communications Directors and CEOs, as a Producer on BBC Watchdog, informed Abby’s understanding of how to best handle the press. Rehearsing live interviews with Anne Robinson each week, fine tuned her ability to get a point across under challenging circumstances.

Abby is at her best face-to-face, be it media training, talking through a rebuttal to an allegation, working alongside teams engulfed in an issue or putting a CEO and their team to work during a crisis simulation. She always bring s an outside perspective – thinking as a journalist, consumer, business owner and comms professional.

Big business doesn’t always enjoy the most favourable of reputations. Companies are being scrutinised from all angles and Abby thrives on preparing for those difficult questions, challenging my clients on their answers to ensure they’re honest, concise and relevant.
