Moore Squared Communications hosted a panel discussion on how to make retirement income sustainable. As defined contribution pots become the principal source of retirement wealth, the industry is grappling with how to build an income for members that will last throughout their lifetime and will avoid climate change risk.
The government recently said it wants choices to be simplified and for all pension schemes to offer default retirement income. This will put further pressure on the industry to come up with workable solutions.
