Louisa Preston

Louisa was a recognisable face on British TV screens for nearly 20 years, first on Channel 5 News from ITN, where she was the youngest ever national news reader, and then for many years as one of the faces of BBC London News.  

As a reporter and presenter, she had the privilege of being part of the presenting team on BBC1 for major national events, including the 2017 General Election, London 2012 Olympics and Royal Wedding in 2011.  

More recently, she was appearing on BBC Cambridge, in her home patch. 

Louisa started helping corporate organisations with their corporate media training whilst still a working, freelance journalist, and has now turned that into a full time occupation, hanging up her On Air microphone once and for all, in 2022. 

She studied Law, Politics and Journalism at University, lives in Cambridgeshire and is married with two children.
